4 out of 5 stars This is a great exam book for Mammography Exam   March 24, 2009

This is an excellent book for both a state and national mammo exam. If you get an answer wrong on the mock test it explains all aspects of the questions..almost to a point of overkill. There are some wrong answers on the Practice Test 2 on Q.81 and 82 but the rest of the exams are great. The reference book given by author Andolina is another great book they reference on the test. For you potential mammo techs out there, just take the ARRT test and don't bother with the state test. They are both about the same questions. This is a great mock exam book for either one...very thorough and great explanations.

4 out of 5 stars CD rom   February 16, 2010
A. Colvin
The book was great. The practice test on the CD rom had many questions that had the wrong answers. The book and CD's answers didn't match up. The book is great, but someone should have checked the answer on the cd more carefully.
Overall I think that this book was very helpful.

I was very disappointed I spent my money on this product. I liked the fact that I could practice on mock registry exams, but found the errors within the text and on the practice tests more annoying than the little information I gained from the book. The explanation of the questions on the mock exams were helpful, but again, I grew frustrated reading the explanation, only to find out I answered correctly to begin with! I wish I would have spent more time reasearching my options to prepare for registry. I did well, but it was not because of this book. I found the information in Andolina, Lille and Willison's book more accurate; the down part was that it did not have mock exams. This Lange review contradicted the Andolina book in numerous aspects. Furthermore, my instructor is a state inspector, our class required the Andolina book. I wanted an additional reference so I purchased the Lange book. If you are detail-oriented, this is NOT the book (Lange)for you.
